Activated charcoal absorbent cat litter
A mineral cat litter with medium-sized granules, designed to offer high absorbency and advanced odour control even in the most challenging situations.
BioSand Activated Charcoal is an artificial mineral cat litter containing microgranules of activated charcoal, designed to effectively neutralise unpleasant odours. Its microporous structure ensures excellent absorbency, keeping the cat litter dry and effective over time.
The combination of absorption and odour control helps reduce odours, even in challenging or poorly ventilated environments.
The result is a high-performance, low-maintenance absorbent cat litter, designed to ensure hygiene and comfort even in small or poorly ventilated homes.

Effectively neutralises odours
Activated charcoal absorbs and traps the molecules that cause unpleasant odours, improving room air quality.
No-stick
The particular structure of the material stops it sticking to your cat's fur and being tracked outside the litter box, helping your home to stay clean.
Low-tracking
The particular structure of the material helps to prevent it from sticking to your cat's paws, reducing tracking outside the litter box and keeping the surrounding area clean.
How to use activated charcoal absorbent litter
FILLING THE LITTER BOX
Cover the bottom of the litter box with about 3 cm of BioSand absorbent litter. The layer must be deep enough to allow your cat to dig, but not too deep.
REMOVING THE CLUMPS
Remove the dry droppings with a scoop every 2-3 days and gently remix the remaining absorbent litter in the box. This will ensure that the product stays perfectly clean and dry.
CHANGING THE CAT LITTER
Replace the absorbent cat litter completely every 7-10 days and wash the litter box thoroughly with soap and water before refilling it with clean litter.

Practical tips
Disposing of activated charcoal absorbent cat litter
Thanks to its high absorbency, this absorbent cat litter retains liquids until it is fully saturated. Once it has fulfilled its function, it must be completely replaced and disposed of as general waste. Before throwing it away, always check your local council regulations regarding the disposal of cat litter and its packaging. Do not dispose of cat litter in the toilet.
Ideal for challenging environments
Thanks to the presence of microgranules of activated charcoal, this cat litter is particularly suited to small, poorly ventilated environments, or ones more prone to the formation of odours. Its deodorant properties help to effectively neutralise the molecules that cause unwanted odours, helping to keep the air fresher every day.
Also suitable for long-haired cats
The particular structure of the material makes it less likely to stick to your cat's fur and helps prevent the cat litter from being tracked outside the litter box. This is a particularly useful feature, especially if you have long-haired cats, as it helps to keep the surrounding area cleaner.
