Our story started within Selim, a company operating in the mining industry since the 1960s and taken over by the current owners in 1990.
In the early 1990s, we identified a clear opportunity: cat litter production. From that moment on, we made a deliberate and unconventional choice: to focus on a single product and refine it over time with consistency and expertise.
Our BioSand brand was launched in 2005. Since then, we have grown with a clear goal in mind: to offer a product of consistent quality and to build long-lasting relationships with our distributors and customers, based on trust and results.

We made the decision not to diversify from the very beginning of our journey.
As a result, we have been producing cat litter exclusively for over thirty years.

In the mineral cat litter industry, we are among the few Italian producers and the only company exclusively focused on this sector.
